A question about your new airgun often comes to mind once you’re home. Perhaps you’d like something explained again, you’re unsure about your scope, or your equipment isn’t working as expected.
Crackshot provides airgun after-sales support from our shop and indoor shooting ranges in Newton Abbot, Devon. This includes free ongoing advice, help understanding your setup, and guidance on care, servicing and warranty cover.
Whether you’re new to airguns, returning to shooting or have years of experience, you’re welcome to ask.
What does airgun after-sales support include?
After-sales support means having someone to turn to after your purchase. At Crackshot, you can contact our team for help with:
- Understanding your airgun, scope or accessories.
- Questions about the setup we completed for you.
- Choosing suitable pellets.
- Looking after your equipment.
- Arranging servicing or discussing a possible fault.
- Understanding the warranty cover for your purchase.
You don’t need to know the technical name for a part or work out what’s wrong before contacting us. Tell us what you’re unsure about, and we’ll talk it through.
Ongoing advice is free, with no limit on the questions you can ask after your purchase.
Getting comfortable with your new airgun
There can be a lot to take in when you collect a new gun, especially if it’s your first airgun or you’re moving to a different type.
Something that seemed clear in the shop might feel less familiar when you get home. Asking us to explain it again is part of getting comfortable with your equipment.
Our team are experienced airgun users themselves. We’ll take the time to explain things clearly, whether you need a basic reminder or have a more specific technical question.
Free setup with your gun purchase
Full setup is free with every gun purchase from Crackshot, if required. Where applicable, this includes:
- Scope mounting: fitting your scope to the gun.
- Adjusting eye relief: positioning the scope so you have a comfortable view through it.
- Zeroing: adjusting the sights so your point of aim matches where the pellet lands at a chosen distance.
Pellet sample packs are also included for testing.
If you have a question about the setup we completed, give us a call. We want you to understand your equipment and feel confident using it.
What should you do if something doesn’t feel right?
Contact us if your airgun or equipment isn’t working as expected. You don’t have to diagnose the problem yourself.
Explain what you’ve noticed, when it started and whether anything has changed. If you’re concerned that the equipment may be unsafe, stop using it and speak to the team.
It helps to have the following information available:
- The make and model.
- Your receipt or order number, if you have it.
- A description of the problem and when it happens.
We’ll help you understand the next step. Please contact us before sending equipment back so we can explain how to proceed.
Servicing and warranty support
If you think your air rifle needs servicing, or you’re unsure whether a problem is covered by warranty, ask us.
Qualifying new air rifles purchased from Crackshot come with our lifetime warranty and servicing cover for the original purchaser, subject to the terms of the cover.
We can explain whether your rifle qualifies, what’s included and how to arrange any work required. Please speak to us before making modifications to a rifle covered by the warranty.
