1. Arriving at Crackshot
Walking into a shooting range for the first time can feel unfamiliar. You might be wondering where to go, what you need to know or whether everyone else will already be an experienced shooter.
Start by saying hello to the team and letting us know you’re here for your session. If it’s your first time, tell us. You won’t be expected to arrive knowing how everything works.
There’s no need to feel embarrassed about asking a basic question. Whether you’re unsure about the equipment or simply want to know what happens next, we’re happy to explain.
2. Your safety briefing
Before your shooting session begins, you’ll have a safety briefing. This explains the range rules and how to use the equipment safely.
Take the time to listen and ask if anything is unclear. You don’t need to remember unfamiliar terms or pretend you’ve understood something when you haven’t.
Knowing what to do helps you feel more at ease, so the briefing is an important part of getting you ready to enjoy the range.
3. Getting your equipment
Next comes the equipment handover. Our team will explain the equipment you’ll be using and help you understand what to do before you start.
If you’ve never held an airgun before, that’s fine. This is your opportunity to get familiar with it and ask questions.

These are all reasonable questions. We’d much rather you ask than carry on feeling unsure.
