What are Crackshot’s opening hours?
Crackshot is open:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday: Closed

What air rifle calibre is best for pest control?The ideal calibre depends on the type of shooting you intend to do. Based on our experience,
we generally recommend:
– Rabbits: .177 calibre
– Rats: .22 calibre
– Pigeons: .177 calibre
– General farm pest control: .22 calibre
The best calibre can also depend on factors such as shooting distance, accuracy requirements,
and personal preference. If you are unsure, our experienced team will be happy to recommend
the most suitable air rifle for your needs.

Do Crackshot air rifles come with a warranty?
Yes. We offer our exclusive Lifetime Warranty on all new air rifles purchased from
Crackshot with a value of £500 or more.
The warranty applies to the original purchaser and provides complete peace of mind for as
long as you own the rifle.
Our Lifetime Warranty includes:
– Replacement of faulty parts
– Servicing when required
– Expert after-sales support from our experienced team
The only conditions are:

• The rifle must be returned to Crackshot for any warranty work.
• Any modifications must be approved by us before they are carried out.
• The rifle must be properly maintained and cared for.
• There are no hidden catches or confusing small print. When you purchase an eligible air rifle

Do all night vision scopes include an infrared (IR)
illuminator?
No. Not every night vision scope includes an IR illuminator.
Some models have a built-in IR illuminator, while others require an external IR unit or have
optional accessories available.
If you are unsure which option is best for your shooting requirements, contact our team and
we’lll help you choose the right setup.

Is a hard gun case better than a gun bag?
Both gun bags and hard cases have their advantages, but we generally recommend a hard
rifle case for maximum protection.
A hard case offers better protection during transport and storage, helping to protect your air
rifle from knocks, impacts and accidental damage.
If you regularly travel with your rifle, a hard case is usually the best choice.

What optic is best for an air pistol?
For most air pistols, we recommend using a red dot sight.
Red dot optics are quick to acquire, easy to use and ideal for target shooting and general
recreational use.
If you are looking for a different style of optic, our team can advise you on the best option for
your pistol and shooting discipline.

What is the most affordable PCP air rifle?

Are spring-powered air rifles accurate?
Yes.
Spring-powered air rifles are capable of excellent accuracy.
They do require good shooting technique and practice to master, but once you become
familiar with the recoil and firing cycle, a quality spring rifle can be exceptionally accurate.
Many experienced shooters continue to choose spring-powered rifles for both target shooting
and hunting.

purchasing larger quantities.
