Pre-Charged Air Rifle Filling Options
If you are new to airgunning, choosing the right filling equipment for a pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle can feel confusing. There are several options available, including hand pumps, steel and carbon-fibre air bottles, and compressors.
Crackshot is well worth a visit if you would like to discuss the different options. Our team will help you choose a suitable system and provide full instructions on how to use it.
PCP Hand Pumps
We stock a selection of hand pumps, which are ideal for topping up your air rifle in the field or for occasional filling at home.
Steel Air Bottles
For more regular use, we offer 3, 5, 7 and 12-litre steel air bottles. Each bottle is supplied fully charged and ready to use, with two additional refills included free of charge.
Lightweight Carbon-Fibre Bottles
If a steel bottle feels too heavy, a carbon-fibre air bottle may be a better option. Although slightly more expensive, carbon bottles are much lighter and easier to handle.
We stock 3, 5 and 7-litre carbon-fibre bottles for everyday use. For topping up your air rifle while out in the field, the compact 1.2-litre option is also worth considering. It is much lighter and small enough to fit inside a good-sized jacket pocket.
Airgun Compressors
We also stock compressors that can save you the inconvenience of travelling elsewhere to refill your bottle. The smaller Bisley model is ideal for topping up an airgun, while the larger Hill option can also be used to fill an air bottle.
Air Bottle Testing and Replacement Fittings
Already have an air bottle? If it is out of test, it will need to be tested before it can be filled. Crackshot can arrange this for you.
We also stock a wide selection of fittings and quick-release kits, which may allow you to continue using an older bottle you already own.
Airgun Club Filling Equipment
If you belong to an airgun club that has its own air bottles, Crackshot stocks A-clamps and other associated fittings that can enable you to fill your own airgun.
